Bandages – are one of the most common medical textile products.

Types of bandages:

- gauze;

- gypsum plaster;

- elastic.

Commonly produced are sterile and nonsterile gauze bandages. Sterility is ensured by applying decontamination materials and sealing in tight packing. Nonsterile bandages are used for external fixation without contact with wound surfaces of the patient.
